Nurturing Lab is a small, hands-on AI product studio. Instead of slide decks, we build and ship real software — AI-powered mobile and web products taken end to end, from first architecture through launch and self-hosted operations. That same experience is what we bring to advisory work: practical, engineering-grounded help for teams building with AI.
Founder
Robin founded Nurturing Lab in 2017 and has run it since — first building data warehouses, CRM integrations and marketing automation for more than twenty clients, now designing and shipping AI products end to end. Before the studio came analytics and product roles at Sony, Danaher, ReShape Lifesciences and Swift Health Systems, where the work was turning messy operational data into decisions people would actually act on. One project from that stretch still gets pointed at: an AWS data platform holding COVID testing and vaccination records for more than twenty countries, with daily reporting on top of it. MBA in finance, econometrics and statistics from San Diego State University; Salesforce Certified Administrator; MIT's Analytics Edge.
Frontend Developer
Cenia builds the front of the site and shapes how it looks and reads — design and graphics, HTML and CSS, and the messaging and marketing that carry the work.
We prove ideas by building and shipping them, not by writing decks about them.
AI is only useful when it works in production — under load, on bad inputs, and when a provider goes down.
Agents get real permissions. We design for least privilege, isolation, and auditability from the start.
We are clear about what AI can and cannot do, what we know, and what we are still testing.
From architecture to deployment to on-call, we own the whole path from idea to running system.
The simplest design that meets the reliability, cost, and safety bar — no more, no less.
